WALK-A-THON & WELLNESS WEEKEND
June 19-20, 2010
The Town of North Beach, Maryland in collaboration Team Tri-Forces is sponsoring a Wellness Weekend.
The Wellness Weekend will offer something for everyone and feature local Town and Calvert Country wellness practitioners to demonstrate and speak about a variety of health and wellness-related topics and community initiatives on Saturday, June 19th.
The event kicks off at 8:30am on Saturday morning with the Tri-Forces Sprint Triathlon and concludes with a Walk-a-thon on Fathers Day, Sunday June 20th.
Join other participants, age 11-adult, as they enjoy a 5K walk through this beautiful waterfront community on the Chesapeake Bay. Check-in for the Walk-a-thon begins at 7:00am with the walk starting at 8:30am.
Proceeds from the event will go to support military veterans and their families.
